BALDERAS TAKES THE LEAD IN ONLINE GRASSROOTS SUPPORT

With 1,000th Twitter Follower, Balderas Leads All NM Senate Candidates on Social Media

ALBUQUERQUE - Adding to his grassroots campaign's growing momentum, U.S. Senate candidate Hector Balderas has notched his 1,000th Twitter follower and 6,050th fan on Facebook.

 

With the growing number of online supporters, Balderas now leads in online support among all of New Mexico's Senate candidates of either party.

 

"I'm thrilled that so many people are using social media to join our campaign and directly engage in the political process," said Balderas. "Social media is critical to engaging people, and it provides a growing opportunity for people to be heard over the influence of the special interests. Out of all of the declared candidates running for U.S. Senate in New Mexico, Balderas has more online grassroots supporters on both Twitter and Facebook.
